Base Material Steel /Aluminium
Lay-in Tile Steel Ceiling System (600 mm x 600 mm) manufactured out of 0.50 mm thick regular modified polyster coated galvanized steel (Z-120 gms Zinc coating mass total of both sides, 275 Mpa yield strength) on the exposed side and primer coating on the back, coil coated on both the sides in manufacturer’s standard colour shades with square or belvelled edges and flanges, produced on advanced equipment, which includes several leveling stages in the manufacturing process. Exposed side of tile shall have 20 micron coil coated polyster finish for steel and 5 micron back coat of Alkyd primer. All tiles to be installed on a standard 600 mm x 600 mm module 24 mm table exposed metal grid and are precision made to within ±0.25 mm
Suspension system would be standard 24 mm table exposed metal grid features main runners and cross tees rolled formed form galvanized steel to BS 2989z-18 zinc coating, minimum tensile strength 270 Mpa. Grid system to designed to satisfy ASTM C365 loading and deflection crieteria. The main and cross runners to be provided with bayonet couplings for quick installation. The grid is suspended from the roof with 4mm dia. G.I. wire rods and quick adjustment suspension hangers at maximum 1200 mm along the main runners. The tiles would be designed for lay-in mounting from below into the standard grid. The main runners shall be fixed at 1200 mm and shall be in filled with 1200 mm / 600 mm cross tees. Hangers to be fixed to roof by J-Hooks & nylon inserts. Wall angle to be 22 x 22 x 0.5 mm thick coil coated steel matching the colour of tile.
Clip-in Tile false ceiling system made of 0.5 mm thick G.I. steel/0.7 mm thick Aluminium sheet, coil coated/powder coated with approved shade, with 20/50 micron respectively on the front side. The size of 0.5 mm thick beveled edge tile shall be 600mm x 600mm (with or without perforation of 2.5mm dia).
The tiles are fixed to primary suspension system made from 0.5mm thick galvanized steel runner placed at 600mm c/c. These primary suspensions fixed to hold-on-clamp with suspension clip placed at 1200mm c/c. The hold-on-clamp with suspension clip is fixed to RCC ceiling by means of rod hanger made from 4mm dia.
M.S. galavanized steel rod fixed with rawl plug & screws or dash fasteners. At the edge or periphery of walls tiles rest on L profile of 25mm x 25mm made up of 0.5mm thick steel with punched out tongues including making openings for lights and A.C. diffusers.
